As a home-school family, you can allow the world to be your classroom.
That's right! You don't always have to be in the house, at a desk, with your nose in a book. In allowing the world to be a classroom for your children you can look for different things to do or try as a family and field trips.
Well while in the search for finding new things for my family and me to do I learned that certain businesses have a home-school day. Yes, home-school days that are just for home-school families.
So to make it easy for you I've put together a list of different businesses that have homeschool days in Columbia and surrounding areas. If you are not in South Carolina no worries. Just simply search for your local businesses similar to these. So check out all the museums, zoos, parks, etc to see what they have available.
